Abolitionist William Wilberforce said regarding the African slave trade, “You can choose to look the other way, but you can never say that you didn’t know.” The same is true today in regard to modern-day slavery in our own backyard. We call it ‘human trafficking.’ As Christians, we have a biblical duty and mandate to act on what we know, FIGHT EVIL, bring justice to our communities, and bring restoration and HOPE to broken lives.
